Mother's Day

They say that I am a replica of my mother - her "mini me". We got the same height(but I am an inch taller!),same eyes and nose, same dimples on the cheek and the same profession. We even have the same month of birthday-May - and the same zodiac sign - Taurus. We both prefer salty foods over sweets and loves cooking and I think, we are both not good at it.

But despite these similarities, we do have a lot of misunderstanding. I don't know why but part of my growing up,I guess;but it doesn't mean I don't love her. I maybe  her most stubborn child but it doesn't mean I love her less than the way my siblings love her. I love her so much!!!I just can't tell it to her straightly...even on this very special occasion. Just the thought of  saying it to her tomorrow makes me cringe but I'll do it anyway!Tomorrow...I will. I promise.

It doesn't have to be a problem. In school, when I am in college, i was the most fluent debator of our class, even in our college. I speak with eloquence...hmmm..that's what they say. I even delivered the graduation speech, in front of 1,500 graduates with their parents and other audience. You see, I am a good speaker!..

I am not bragging. I just would like you to see the comparison. Saying "I love You" to my mom should be a lot  more easier than speaking in a huge crowd.

Now I am thinking,How many daughters have the same dilemma with me?and why?

I guest the answer is "many". Millions maybe and for different reasons.

The number may reduce tomorrow. You and i. Let's do it!:-)
